Puppy Purchase Agreement

1. Puppy Information

2. Health & Veterinary Care
Puppy will go home with a veterinary examination, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchip, and dewclaw removal (if performed). Breeder certifies puppy is in good general health at time of placement.

3. Purchase Terms

Ownership transfers only after full payment is received.

4. Pickup & Transport
Buyer agrees to pick up puppy or arrange transport. All transportation costs and arrangements are the responsibility of Buyer. Once puppy leaves Breeder’s care, Buyer assumes responsibility.

5. Buyer Responsibilities
Buyer agrees to provide proper nutrition, clean water, safe living conditions, regular veterinary care, parasite prevention, and indoor family companionship. Buyer agrees this dog will not be neglected, abused, or chained outdoors.

6. Health Warranty (2-Year Genetic Warranty)
MT Nest Goldendoodles provides a two (2) year warranty against life-altering hereditary/genetic defects including hips, elbows, patellas, heart, and eyes. Warranty excludes conditions caused by injury, abuse, obesity, or environmental factors. Buyer must provide written veterinary documentation for claims.

7. Growth & Exercise Requirements
Buyer agrees to maintain puppy at a healthy weight and avoid repetitive high-impact activity (forced distance running, excessive jumping) during the first 12–18 months to protect developing joints.

8. Training & Temperament
Buyer is responsible for socialization and obedience training. Breeder makes no guarantees regarding adult size, coat type, shedding level, or allergy compatibility.

9. Pet Insurance Requirement
Buyer agrees to obtain and maintain active pet health insurance within thirty (30) days of taking possession. Failure to obtain insurance may result in the genetic health warranty becoming null and void.

10. Microchip
Breeder remains listed as permanent backup contact on microchip. Buyer will be added as primary owner and agrees to keep contact information current.

11. Return Policy / No Shelter Clause
If Buyer can no longer keep the dog, Buyer agrees to contact Breeder immediately. This dog may never be sold, rehomed without approval, or surrendered to a shelter.

12. Spay/Neuter (Pet Homes)
Puppy is sold as a pet companion only. Buyer agrees to spay/neuter by 12 months of age and provide proof from a licensed veterinarian.

13. Breeding Rights
Breeding rights are granted only with written approval. Unauthorized breeding results in immediate breach of contract and $5,000 liquidated damages.

14. Breeder Rights
Breeder reserves the right to refuse or cancel placement if it is not in the puppy’s best interest. Deposit will be refunded if Breeder cancels.

15. Limitation of Liability
Breeder shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages. After transfer, Buyer assumes all costs of care.

16. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Disputes shall be filed in Callahan County or Taylor County, Texas.
